El próximo 27 de marzo se llevará a cabo la 94ª entrega anual de los Premios Oscar, por segundo año consecutivo en contexto de pandemia.

Este martes 08 de febrero, la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas anunció los nominados a la 94ª entrega anual de los Premios Oscar, a realizarse el próximo 27 de marzo.
Con 12 nominaciones, resalta The Power of The Dog, protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch y dirigida por Jane Campion que viene de triunfar en diversos festivales y de llevarse el Globo de Oro a la Mejor Película Dramática.
The Power of the Dog, protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch, se vocea como una de las favoritas para ganar los Oscars.
En la categoría de mejor película, la acompañan la comedia dramática Belfast; el drama romántico CODA; Don’t look up, protagonizada por Leonardo Di Caprio y Jennifer Lawrence; la cinta japonesa Drive My Car; Dune, con Zendaya y Timothée Chalamet; King Richard, protagonizada por Serena Williams y Will Smith; Licorice Pizza, Nightmare Alley y West Side Story.
Kenneth Branagh de Belfast, Ryusuke Hamaguchi de Drive my Car, Paul Thomas Anderson de Licorice Pizza, Jane Campion de The Power of the Dog y Steven Spielberg de West Side Story competirán por el premio a Mejor Director.
Mejor actor y actriz
Kristen Stewart está nominada a Mejor Actriz por su papel como Diana en la película ‘Spencer’.
En la categoría dedicada a la mejor interpretación masculina compiten Javier Bardem (Being the Ricardos), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Power of the Dog), Andrew Garfield (Tick, tick… Boom!), Will Smith (King Richard) y Denzel Washington (The Tragedy of Macbeth).
Por otro lado, las nominadas a Mejor actriz son Jessica Chastain (The Eyes of Tammy Taye), Olivia Colman (The Lost Daughter), Penélope Cruz (Madres paralelas), Nicole Kidman (Being the Ricardos) y Kristen Stewart (Spencer).
